Do classwork in the class

About privacy and personal information.

In this class, we will ask each other many questions. Sometimes you may not want to answer a question because you do not want to give out personal information. In this case, please make up some information that is not true.  For example: "What is your phone number?" "My phone number is 123-4567-8910"

Classroom Manner

Late 

If you are late, you must talk to me and tell me your name. If you do not do this you will be counted as absent for this class. If you are late because of the train, give me the paper from the station.  

Lights 

If you want to turn on a light, you may turn on a light. If you want to turn off a light, you may turn off a light.   

Heater 

If you want to turn on a heater, you may turn on a heater. If you want to turn off a heater, you may turn off a heater.   

Windows 

If you want to open a window, you may open a window. If you want to close a window, you may close a window.  

Curtains 

If you want to open a curtain, you may open a curtain. If you want to close a curtain, you may close a curtain.  

Problems 

If you have a problem, you must talk to me about it. You can raise your hand or just come and talk to me. If you do not talk to me about your problem, I cannot help you.  

Questions 

If you have a question, you can ask me the question. You can raise your hand or just come and talk to me. If you do not ask me your question, I cannot answer your question.  

Toilet 

If you want to go to the toilet, you can go to the toilet. You do not need to ask me.  

Sleeping 

Do not sleep in this class.  

Absent 

If you were absent from the class, you can give me a paper from the office.

Use of Google Forms

You will complete many Google Forms in this class. You must bring a smartphone or PC to do these activities. Please try your best!

Deadlines for homework

The deadline for homework will be the start of the next class. For example, if the teacher says that  you must complete a Google Form for homework, the Google Form must be completed before the start of the next class.  You will not be able to submit the Google Form after the start of the next class.  Please complete the homework before the start of the next class. If you have any problem with the homework you must tell the teacher before the start of the next class. Please try your best!   

Deadlines for in class activities

The teacher will announce the deadlines for these activities in the class. For example, the teacher may say "You have 15 minutes to complete this listening activity". In this case the deadline will be 15 minutes after this announcement.  Another example may be when the teacher says "You have 5 more minutes to complete this activity" In this case the deadline will be 5 minutes after this announcement. You will not be able to submit the Google Form after the deadline.  Please pay attention to what the teacher says to avoid any problems. Please complete the Google Forms before the deadlines. If you have any problem with the Google Forms you must tell the teacher before the deadline. Please try your best!

Taking Photos and Recording Videos

 You are not allowed to take a photo or record a video of another student. 

Bad manners 

Do not have bad manners.  If you have bad manners, the teacher may scold you.  The teacher may scold you either verbally or by email.   Each timie you are scolded, you will lose points from your class participation score.  Be careful!
